Welcome to My Online Portfolio

My name is Nayla Ugardes and drawing has been a part of my life since early childhood. During my middle school years, I discover a little thing known as graphic design. Since then, I truly believe I have found my passion, and all of my (good) work gets put on here, for anyone who happens to stumble upon my site, to view and hopefully enjoy.

A Little More About Me ......

Below are a list of my future aspirations, and how my interest in technology came to be.

Illustrator

Out of all of my goals, this one is without a doubt my favorite. Ever since I knew that I could I like to draw, I wanted to do it for a living. What I love is the way that you have complete creative freedom, you can create a whole other world with its own story.

Graphic Designer

I have been working in Graphic Design for many years now. I have plenty of experinence. This job requires a certain amount of creativity and control. I'm always open to learning and new experiences

Travel

I've always wanted to, since childhood, make enough money to be able to travel around the world and get to know as many different cultures as I can. I love that stress-free feeling that you get when you're on vacation.

Buisness Owner

I want to be able to someday make a company, that provides the type of services people need. I want to make a comfortable work environment that allows people to be themselves.

Throughout my childhood, one of my most vivid memories consist of me playing the old Sonic games on my brand-new Nintendo Gameboy, the color edition. Those games were a huge part of my future, they sparked a tiny fire within me. I've always had a passion for video games. When I was in middle school, I would sketch out O.C's (original characters) and make a story for them, they were for a game I believed I would one day make. Who knows, maybe I will?
Video Game Design is just one of my many interests, illustration has always been a way for me to vent my frustrations, it's also a good pick-me-up.
Now, the first day of middle school for me was pretty life changing. There was this one class with this certain teacher that opened my eyes. It was an elective technology class. I had chosen that class as my fourth elective, I was not thrilled when I got it, the work was hard and I hated it.
I wasn't and never will be one of those student that stand out in the class. But I’m glad I stuck through it, I learned so many things. but just to give you an idea how much I learned, I went into that class not having any knowledge what a USB or flash drive was. Completely clueless. Now not only do I know how to use USB, but I have a clear idea of my future goals and what I want
